A Decade’s worth of posts!

Thanks for the past 10 years!

It’s hard to believe but I just noticed that I have been blogging here for 10 years now!  A full decade worth of postings, ramblings and tech notes.  WOW if I don’t say so myself.

It all started here : http://vcloudinfo.com/2008/03/finally.html and has grown and expanded to include Twitter, Facebook and even a pretty popular GitHub repo! We have done a lot of redesigns over the years and I’m really really happy with the latest incarnation of the Blog right now.  Special thank you to Steve for all the graphics work!

Throughout the 10 years, I have tried to write about all the things I really enjoy.. from work to personal.  Somewhere in the middle, I even blogged about my journey from New York to Florida.   I’m still with the same amazing company (IPM) and even though we had been recently acquired by NewTek as a wholly owned company, things continue to stay on track without too much upheaval.  Plenty of upside for an exciting future!

Yesterday I also received notice that I was again accepted into the VMware vExpert program.  For the 10th year!  Since it’s inception I have been fortunate to be involved and continue to be proud of my efforts within the communities I am involved in.

The blogging platform has given me access to a lot of great opportunities and I’m fortunate and thankful that it somehow continues to find people that read and consume it.  My post back in 2012 still holds true.  Blogging is a lot of work and sometimes can feel like you are just talking to yourself in an big empty room.  It can be discouraging at times and a struggle to continue to write and post but if you do continue and try your best to put out quality writings and work, people will find it and you will see the rewards of helping to develop a community to share ideas and information with.

Again, I’m really thankful for all the support and help I’ve had throughout my entire career.

Carlo
